Funding of the Clean Baltic Sea projects and fund reports
The costs incurred by the Clean Baltic Sea projects are covered with donations to the Clean Sea Fund by private individuals and enterprises concerned about the condition of the Baltic Sea. In addition, the public sector, including the Ministry of the Environment, funds numerous projects. The funds collected in the Clean Sea Fund will be used in their entirety for the John Nurminen Foundation’s Clean Baltic Sea Projects.
The donations are used for investments in equipment, technical surveys and for paying the salaries of project employees. The marketing of the activities, for example, will be done on a pro bono basis when possible so that the donations are genuinely used for the good of the Baltic Sea.
Further information on the progress of projects is available in the Fund report.
